Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Position Type: Full-Time
Contract Duration: 2026-2027 School Year

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team serving students near Tacoma, Washington for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop the skills needed for academic success and daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Adapt classroom environments and materials to improve student accessibility

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Washington State OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Washington ESA (active or willing to obtain)
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
