The Assistant Property Manager supports the day-to-day operations of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. This role works closely with the Property Manager to help maintain tenant satisfaction, coordinate maintenance, manage administrative tasks, and support financial and leasing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily property operations and tenant relations
• Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure completion
• Support rent collection, invoice processing, and basic accounts receivable/payable functions
• Help maintain accurate tenant files, lease documentation, and property records
• Assist with lease administration, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
• Conduct property inspections and help ensure buildings and grounds are well maintained
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers regarding work orders and scheduled services
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents
• Support budget tracking and expense monitoring
• Ensure compliance with company policies, lease terms, and applicable property regulations

• 2+ years of experience in property management, real estate, administration, or a related field
• Strong customer service and tenant relations skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of leases, work orders, and basic financial reporting preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting residential, commercial, or mixed-use portfolios
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle tenant concerns professionally
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with onsite teams, vendors, and management

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, property management, or related field preferred
