Position Summary
The Policy Analyst analyzes legislative and regulatory policies and proposals; assesses their impact on people with disabilities, and educates policymakers accordingly. The position reports directly to one of DLCs Co-Legal Directors.
PRIMARY Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
All employees must respect the values of the disability rights movement and advance the public image of DLC as a trusted and competent resource. All employees must also exhibit work performance consistent with the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct and the National Disability Rights Networks Standards.

Work Environment
This position is based in Colorado. Candidates must reside in Colorado or be willing to relocate prior to their start date. DLC offers a flexible work environment, with the option to work remotely or from our Denver office. DLC provides equipment to employees to work successfully in a remote environment, including, but not limited to, laptops and phones. This role requires regular in-person work at the Colorado State Capitol, state agencies, and community locations, as well as occasional evening or non-standard hours during legislative sessions.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary range is $70,000 to $82,000 annually, depending on experience.
