Medical Assistant / Clinical Assistant (Related Healthcare Experience Welcome)

Location: Columbiana, OH
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

What You'll Do (Essential Duties):

• Clinical Support: Room patients, obtain vital signs, record medications/allergies, and collect/process lab specimens.
• Patient Coordination: Schedule procedures and surgeries, coordinate with surgical vendors, and manage physician block times.
• Administrative Excellence: Manage electronic medical records (EMR), handle insurance authorizations, and resolve eligibility issues.
• Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all OSHA and Joint Commission (TJC) standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ years of experience directly related to patient care.
• Ideal Backgrounds: We are specifically seeking candidates with experience as an STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, or Pharmacy Tech. Medical Assistant schooling is a plus, but not required with relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong customer service, ability to multitask in a clinical setting, and proficiency in medical record databases.
