About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance to lead strategic initiatives that ensure compliance with global regulations and prioritize patient safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive safety strategies for pharmaceutical products, providing expert medical guidance for safety data evaluation, and representing the organization in interactions with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves driving continuous improvement in safety processes, mentoring the drug safety team, and contributing to organizational leadership and strategic planning. Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a strong background in medical sciences, a minimum of 11 years of experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, and a proven track record in executive-level leadership. Key responsibilities include overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of adverse event data, developing risk management plans, and ensuring effective safety monitoring during clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to ethical practices. Experience with risk management systems and safety monitoring tools is highly preferred, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment is essential.
