Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department, offering a $15,000 sign-on incentive to qualified candidates. As an integral member of our fast-paced emergency care team, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and critical conditions. Working within a leading Healthcare & Medical Services organization, you will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, fellow nurses, and ancillary staff to triage, stabilize, and treat patients of all ages in accordance with evidence-based practice and established emergency care protocols. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, rapidly recognize and respond to changes in patient status, administer medications and treatments including IV therapy, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, and support life-saving interventions such as CPR, code response, and trauma care. You will utilize strong critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize care in a high-acuity environment, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families during stressful and often emotionally charged situations. The ideal candidate will bring prior critical care or emergency nursing experience, strong skills in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring, proficiency with emergency equipment, and current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS. A current RN license in the state of Texas is required, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program. Methodist Health System offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings options, along with opportunities for ongoing professional development and career advancement.
