Position: RN-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Telemetry for a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas — earn up to ($1539 - $1620 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient conditions.

  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve nursing practices.

  • Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance goals.

  • Educate patients and families on health management and telemetry procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

  • Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff as needed.

  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care strategies.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Texas and BLS certification required.

  • Ability to interpret telemetry data and respond to patient needs.

  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Experience in telemetry nursing or critical care nursing preferred.

  • Commitment to safety protocols and infection control standards.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

  • Familiarity with performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient documentation.

  • Willingness to mentor and train new nursing staff as needed.
