Saturday-Sunday 8:00/9:00 AM-4:00/5:00 PM

$50-$55+/hour DOE

A respectful, well-run private household in Atherton is seeking an experienced Weekend Housekeeper to provide consistent support during high-use days. This is a temporary role with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and household needs.

The Role

You will focus on detailed housekeeping and maintaining the home's readiness throughout the weekend. Success in this role requires discretion, strong judgment, and the ability to move seamlessly through an active household with awareness and respect.

Core Responsibilities

• Detailed daily cleaning and upkeep of all interior spaces
• Care for high-end finishes, surfaces, and furnishings
• Laundry care: washing, folding, steaming, and pressing
• Bed making and linen/towel changes
• Maintaining organization in closets, cabinets, and shared spaces
• Light tidying of common areas during family use
• Monitoring and reporting household or maintenance needs
• Occasional support for light entertaining or guest readiness

The Right Fit

• 4+ years of experience in private households or luxury hospitality
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and pride in work
• Discreet, reliable, and respectful of privacy
• Calm, professional demeanor with a team-player mindset
• Strong common sense and the ability to "read the room" in a lived-in home
• Comfortable taking direction while remaining proactive
• Fluent in English
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• COVID vaccinated (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and strong references required
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance

• Shoe-free home (indoor shoes required)
• Quiet, efficient, and low-profile work style preferred
• High standards for cleanliness and care

Compensation

• $50-$55+/hour DOE
• Temporary role with potential to convert to a permanent position
