Job Summary

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and placing top technical talent across a range of roles and technologies. This role requires strong staffing or agency recruiting experience, the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, and deep expertise in building candidate pipelines in fast‑paced, client‑driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full‑cycle recruiting for technical roles, including software engineering, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, QA, and product roles
Partner with clients and/or hiring managers to understand technical requirements, business needs, and hiring urgency
Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
Conduct technical and behavioral screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit
Present qualified candidate shortlists with detailed assessments and market insights
Coordinate and manage interview processes, feedback, and candidate communication
Negotiate compensation, employment terms, and start dates with candidates and clients
Build and maintain long‑term talent pipelines for recurring and future technical needs
Meet or exceed recruiting KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, submittal‑to‑interview ratio, and placement targets
Maintain accurate and compliant records in the ATS/CRM
Stay current on technology trends, labor market conditions, and competitive intelligence

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recruiting experience
3–7+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing or agency environment
Proven success managing high‑volume and fast‑turn technical requisitions
Hands‑on experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Salesforce, Cloud, DevOps, Data, Security)
Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS/CRM tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to thrive in a metrics‑driven, deadline‑oriented environment
Must have experience hiring candidates with clearance for federal projects (MBI, TSC, Public Trust, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Fortune 500 or enterprise clients
Knowledge of contract, contract‑to‑hire, and full‑time placement models
Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and staffing compliance (W2, C2C, 1099, visa basics)
Experience mentoring junior recruiters or leading recruiting initiatives
