We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Tax Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Vertex integration . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing tax solutions, ensuring accurate tax determination, compliance, and reporting across enterprise systems.

• Design and configure tax solutions in SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Support tax determination, calculation, and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory tax requirements
• Integrate SAP with external tax engines like Vertex

• Support current and deferred tax reporting and compliance
• Extract and validate tax-sensitive data from:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Fixed Assets (FI-AA)
  • Intercompany transactions
• Enable audit-ready tax reporting aligned with financial statements
• Support tax consolidation across entities

• Configure and support Sales & Use Tax processes
• Manage tax-related master data (customer, vendor, material)
• Support tax reporting, reconciliation, and statutory filings

• Support property tax reporting and compliance
• Work with asset data including capitalization, depreciation, and transfers
• Ensure accurate reconciliation between SAP data and statutory reporting

• Configure and support Withholding Tax (WHT)
• Handle tax postings, liability accounting, and reporting
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness

• Support intercompany accounting and transfer pricing models
• Analyze cost structures, margins, and profit allocations
• Align transfer pricing with tax reporting and financial data
• Integrate with tools like SAP PaPM / Alteryx (preferred)

• Support integration with Vertex and external systems
• Collaborate with Tax, Finance, Controlling, and IT teams
• Design scalable solutions for complex, multi-entity environments

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (Tax)
• Hands-on experience with Vertex integration
• Expertise in:
  • Direct Tax & Tax Reporting
  • Sales & Use Tax
  • Property Tax
  • Withholding Tax
  • Transfer Pricing
• Strong knowledge of GL, FI-AA, and intercompany processes
• Experience in tax data reconciliation and audit support

• Experience with SAP PaPM / Alteryx
• Exposure to multi-entity/global tax environments
• Strong stakeholder communication and analytical skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on Tax
• Proven experience in SAP Tax implementations in S/4HANA

• Day 1 onsite role Parsippany, NJ
• Local or nearby candidates preferred
• Strong emphasis on SAP Tax + Vertex + S/4HANA Finance
