Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks Online experience, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. Experienced within the Accounting and Audition Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Process and record daily financial transactions.
• Manage the full Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment preparation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, allocations, collections, and account follow-ups.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan account reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
• Process journal entries where required.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and filing systems.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and management as needed.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proven experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance qualification.
• QuickBooks certification advantageous.
• Experience working with international clients or multi-entity businesses.
• Exposure to payroll processing and month-end reporting.
