PC Technician Position Overview

The PC Technician is responsible for preparing IT equipment for deployment by performing pre‑configuration tasks, validating device functionality, and ensuring all work meets documented quality standards. This role involves hands‑on work with hardware, basic device setup, and packaging. It is an entry‑level position with opportunities for growth within the IT field.

• Follow written instructions to provision and configure devices according to customer requirements.
• Perform basic kitting of equipment and prepare items for deployment.
• Unbox, re‑box, and process equipment for shipment.
• Clean, test, and inspect devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Escalate technical or process issues to a supervisor when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Consistent adherence to documented processes.
• High‑quality work that supports customer satisfaction.
• Timely and cost‑effective completion of assigned tasks.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple low‑complexity tasks.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining positive team relationships.
• Willingness to learn foundational IT concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Basic familiarity with computer hardware and peripherals.

• At least one year of related experience or relevant training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Technical certifications are a plus but not required; willingness to pursue certifications is expected.

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, and carrying equipment.
• Occasional use of basic tools for device assembly or teardown.
• Ability to read instructions, type, and work from a computer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brook Park, OH.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brook Park,OH.
