We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Woodbury. This position is responsible for processing payroll for multiple locations, assisting with employee benefits setup, and supporting general accounting and office operations. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll or bookkeeping experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.

Job Duties:

• Process payroll accurately for multiple locations
• Assist staff with benefits setup and related paperwork
• Perform bookkeeping and general accounting support tasks
• Maintain payroll records and employee documentation
• Use Excel and QuickBooks for payroll and accounting functions
• Answer and manage multiple phone lines professionally
• Operate general office equipment including computers, printers, and copiers
• Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
• Assist management with additional accounting and office duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of office experience required, preferably in payroll or bookkeeping
• Payroll experience strongly preferred
• QuickBooks and Excel experience required
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Professional communication skills
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop occasionally as needed
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
