Junior Pricing And Operational Analyst

The Junior Pricing and Operational Analyst will support the Pricing team by assisting with data analysis, market research, and pricing strategies. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to learn about the industry and the company while developing foundational skills in pricing methodologies and business operations. The position offers hands-on training and mentorship to foster a deep understanding of pricing models, competitive analysis, and internal processes.

Core Responsibilities

1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, to effectively contribute to pricing strategies.
2. Assist in analyzing pricing data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform decision-making.
3. Support the creation and maintenance of pricing models, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and understand business processes.
5. Participate in training programs and self-guided learning to enhance knowledge of pricing methodologies and industry best practices.
6. Utilize fleet routing software, route optimization software, historical data, and cost analysis to set pricing and re-evaluate existing pricing.
7. Respond to request for quotes and internal pricing questions.
8. Maintain a metrics scorecard and the status of all bid opportunities.
9. Assist the Sr. Pricing & Operational Analyst and Pricing Manager with special projects or management reports.
10. Other duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to exercise independent thought and judgment;
• Ability to think logically and critically;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
