Job Skills / Requirements Position Overview: This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers' buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using approved products, tools and procedures
- Use all cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting, etc.
- Keep an ongoing stock of supplies in designated areas such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Additional Essential Functions: - Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to contribute to the overall team effort including being consistently in uniform and on time.
- Ability to pay close attention to small details.
- Ability to read and write.
Physical Demands: - Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and crawling.
- Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds frequently.
