Shift schedule- 7:00 AM- 5:30 PM Monday- Thursday

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to assist our organization's health and safety programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards, while fostering a culture of safety within the workplace while working with the Director of Safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of occupational health practices, and the ability to conduct effective training and development programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Lead Safety committees
• Provide training and development programs for employees.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving workplace safety and health.
• Assit with workers' compensation claims in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on EHS performance metrics, incidents, and compliance activities for management review.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and best practices within the manufacturing industry.

Requirements

• 2 years Proven experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively using Fishbone and 5-Why

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
