You'll work with attorneys, witnesses, and legal professionals in a variety of settings—on-site, remote, or hybrid—delivering transcripts that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend and record depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and other legal proceedingsUse stenographic equipment and CAT software to capture verbatim recordsPrepare, edit, and deliver certified transcripts within required timeframesCollaborate professionally with attorneys, legal teams, and clientsManage case-related materials, exhibits, and documentationStay current with legal terminology and court reporting standardsWhat You'll NeedCertification: State and/or nationally recognized court reporting certification (e.g., CSR, RPR)Equipment: Reliable stenographic machine, CAT software, and transcription toolsExperience: 1+ years of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to applyProfessionalism: Exceptional accuracy, confidentiality, and time managementAdaptability: Ability to work in-person, remote, or hybrid settingsWhat Success Looks LikeHigh percentage of accurate and on-time transcript deliveryStrong professional reputation among attorneys and legal teamsEffective management of case materials and documentationReliable and consistent use of CAT software and stenographic toolsPositive engagement with Esquire support teams and colleaguesWork EnvironmentThis role involves a combination of on-site, remote, or hybrid assignments.
