Cloud Engineer Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments to ensure continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply functional knowledge across moderate scope and complexity projects while working independently with guidance. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage AWS and Azure cloud environments, including security, automation, and scalability in air‑gapped setups. Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Develop and support platform, application‑level, and pipeline build automation for build and testing. Collaborate with application development teams across the software development life cycle. Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM), role‑based access control (RBAC), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and cloud networking configurations (VPC peering, subnets, VPNs, security groups). Use Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of DevOps experience. Security+ certification (required). Secret clearance (required for selected applicants). Experience with AWS & Azure cloud management, containerization, CI/CD pipelines. Experience with IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust, and networking. Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM). Preferred Experience working in Department of the Working or Information Technology Center environments. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect. AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. Security Clearance Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
