HSA Golden, an established environmental engineering and consulting firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Civil or Environmental Engineer for our Orlando, Florida office. The successful applicant will design and manage projects involving solid waste facilities (landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities), borrow pits, stormwater management/design, construction quality assurance, civil/site engineering, and a variety of other related services. The position requires periodic local travel and fieldwork as dictated by project demands. We are looking for a well-rounded, technically proficient individual who is eager to learn and advance their career under the direction of seasoned professionals.

Job Type: Full-time; Split time office/work-from-home after initial training period is available

Responsibilities of the Role will Include

· Report preparation

· Pursuing and securing new project opportunities, including proposal preparation

· Client and regulatory agency interaction

Required Qualifications

· Minimum Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

· A valid Florida PE license, or is on the track for obtaining a Florida PE

· Minimum three years of design experience in the practice of civil and/or environmental engineering

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proven design and project engineering skills

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

· Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

· Valid driver’s license

· Must be able to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

· Local candidates are preferred

· Current Florida PE is preferred
