CDL-A flatbed drivers near Pensacola, FL run regional freight hauling steel, pipe, and coil loads across five surrounding states (FL, AL, GA, MS, LA). Drivers typically average 2,300-2,800 miles weekly, earning $1,500-$2,000 per week depending on freight and miles.

Compensation

• Drivers earn 27% of each load, typically equivalent to around $0.70 CPM depending on freight and routing.
• $40 tarp pay per tarped load
• $16/hour detention pay after 2 hours
• $50 layover pay after 24 hours
• $300 weekly non-taxed per diem
• Safety and clean inspection bonuses

Sign-On Incentive

Home Time

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 22 years or older

• No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years and no Clearinghouse violations
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Clean MVR preferred
