Bartender

Madison's Restaurant offers an ever-evolving dining experience in the heart of Highlands with farm-fresh ingredients and a welcoming spirit. The Madison's Bartender will provide a high level of efficient, personable, and professional service to guests at this Old Edwards Hospitality Group venue that could include service in Madison's, Hummingbird Lounge, The Wine Garden or Rooftop Terrace.

Responsibilities

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Name usage
• Ability to adhere to ABC standards
• Ability to communicate effectively and serve guests graciously to a high standard
• Ability to prepare consistently excellent cocktails
• Check ID of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Memorization of the beer, wine, and specialty cocktail list, as well as, lunch and dinner menu, based on location
• Ability to use Micros POS system
• Ability to manage multiple tables at one time
• Accommodate special requests to guests, or offer alternatives
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to deal with difficult guests
• Ensure bars are clean and dusted and checklists are completed
• Provide service that exceeds guests' expectations
• Basic math skills
• Responsibility when handling money and alcohol
• Ability to upsell and work well with a team
• Ensure outlets are stocked for the day

Qualifications

• Bartending and server experience needed.
• Excellent communication skills are important for this position
• Must be guest oriented and friendly
• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
