For Our Adjunct Faculty, Who Are Currently Employed For Nine (fall/spring) Semesters Or More And Their Immediate Family (spouse And Legal Dependents) May Be Granted 100% Tuition Waiver For Any Credit Course, As Well As Selected Continuing Education Courses Offered By The College. Adjunct Faculty Who Are Currently Employed For Four To Eight Semesters May Be Granted 50% Tuition Reduction.

The School Of Humanities And Social Sciences Meta Major Encompasses A Number Of Disciplines, Including Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Human Services/pre-social Work, Addictions Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, History, And Education (special Education, Infant/toddler, Early Childhood, And Elementary/secondary). Among The Options Of Study Encompassed By This Meta Major Are Associate Of Applied Science (aas), Associate Of Arts (aa), And Associate Of Science (as) Programs Designed To Prepare Students For Transfer To Four-year Institutions And/or For Entry-level Careers. We Also Offer Professional Development Certificates And Programs In Preparation For Immediate Employment Upon Graduation As Well As General Education Courses Required For All Degree Programs. Our Mission Is To Offer Courses And Degree-granting Programs Centered On A Critical And Analytical Inquiry Of Human Behavior And Institutional Structures From Theoretical, Historical, Empirical, And Multicultural Perspectives. Qualifications
What You'll Need Master's Degree In The Discipline Or Closely Related Field, Required From A Regionally Accredited Institution Of Higher Education. Preferred, College Level Teaching Experience. Demonstrated Ability To Interact With A Culturally Diverse Population And To Effectively And Respectfully Function And Communicate Within The Context Of Varying Beliefs, Behaviors, Orientations, Identities, And Cultural Backgrounds.
